The Israeli occupation forces demolished on Monday a cafe belonging to Wissam Oweina in Battir, west of Bethlehem.
The mayor of Battir Taysir Qattoush told the official agency that the Israeli forces demolished the cafe, claiming that it is an archaeological area and within areas classified as "C". He pointed out that the goal of the occupation of this is to target the Palestinian presence to annex the territory of Battir and achieve its settlement plan, which is called Greater Jerusalem.
Qattoush fears the continued occupation policies of demolition and land grabbing aimed at isolating the western countryside, especially Battir, from Bethlehem.
