Dozens of websites have been hacked by Israeli authorities on Tuesday, according to a Palestinian Center for social Media Affairs.
In a statement, the center of "Echo sushal " said that a number of Palestinian news sites were exposed at dawn to attempts by Israeli actors to penetrate, in cooperation with the companies hosting news sites, until they were able to succeed.
The center called What it described as the "fierce campaign " of news websites that resulted in dozens of crashes.
He explained that among the sites that have been hacked, the website of the agency "SAFA " news, SAMA agency, the agency "Opinion ", the site "Popular Front ", the site of the movement "Hamas ", the news target agency, the site "Channel Palestine " Today, the Agency "Palestine now ", Site " ".
The centre is likely to be the cause of the infiltration by publishing images of the Israeli Special Unit, which recently stormed the Gaza Strip into an intelligence operation.
He confirmed what happened, complementing the efforts made by the Israeli occupation to take pictures of the members of the Special Unit through cooperation with the departments of social media sites to remove their images.
The center appealed to the human rights and legal institutions to do their part to defend the freedom of the press and to stand up to these fierce attacks against the electronic content, while allowing the occupation to spread everything.
