Israeli occupation authorities early Sunday morning shut down the Beit Hanoun (Erez) border crossing with the besieged Gaza Strip, under the pretext that Palestinians were organizing a naval march near the northern border of the Gaza Strip.
Mohammad Maqadmeh, media official of the Palestinian Civil Affairs Commission, Israeli border control authorities unexpectedly informed the commission that Beit Hanoun crossing was shut down to the movement of Palestinian travelers until further notice, with the exception of humanitarian cases.
