The Instagram application said they would introduce new amendments to the application to fight against false accounts.
"Starting today, we will delete all false accounts, likes and comments placed on users ´ accounts and images through third-party applications designed to create a fictitious popularity of the user for profit," said an official statement issued by Instagram.
Instagram officials explained that their company programmers developed special techniques based on artificial intelligence for this purpose, and the new software will detect and delete accounts and fake likes automatically, and will inform the user.
They pointed out that the reliance of Instagram users on applications that increase the number of likes on their images puts their accounts at risk, through which hackers can access user data or personal information.
