A number of citizens were suffocated and fainted Thursday evening, as a result of the occupation forces firing tear gas canisters during clashes that broke out in the town of Tuqu ´east of Bethlehem.
The confrontations in which the youths threw stones at the occupation patrols and empty bottles were concentrated in the Al-Shorfa area, while the Israeli occupation soldiers fired heavy tear gas and rubber bullets, causing a number of people suffocating.
