Three citizens were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and others suffocated and fainted, today, Friday, as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a peaceful olive harvest activity in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.
The occupation forces also attacked farmers and participants in the event, which was called by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the National and Popular Resistance Committees, the National Action Factions, and the "Fatah" movement in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh region.
The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Walid Assaf, told the official news agency that the occupation forces fired "rubber" bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at the participants in the event that comes in the context of supporting farmers by picking olives, which led to the injury of three citizens with metal bullets, and dozens By suffocation, they were fielded.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces have prevented farmers from reaching their lands for two days, while groups of settlers have set fires in these lands in preparation for their seizure.
