Iran, India and Russia will hold trilateral talks this month to launch a 7200-kilometer international and commercial transport corridor, which will be a cheaper and shorter alternative than the traditional route through the Suez Canal.

According to the Iranian channel "Press tv", the "international transport route between North and South " Instc, will be a multiple network of highways, sea routes and railways, stretching from the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf via Iran to Russia and northern Europe.

The new project is a "one-way-one-China" project, which will return Iran with significant economic benefits.

For its part, India has negotiated with Iran for the project, which was approved by the other.

Once the route is operated, the corridor will allow India to send its goods to Bandar Abbas in Iran by sea, and will then be transported to Bandar-I in Iran on the Caspian Sea by road, and will be shipped to Astrakhan in Russia and transported to Europe by rail.

The new corridor will reduce the time period and the cost of delivering goods by 30 to 40 percent, compared with the Suez Canal transport, and will reduce the time period for transporting goods between Mumbai and Moscow to about 20 days, and the estimated power of myrrh will range from 20 to 30 million tons of goods per year .

Earlier, Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu, said the corridor should be used actively as soon as possible, and pilot deliveries had passed in a new way in 2014.

Indian media also reported that project officials from the three countries will meet on November 23 November to discuss the possibility of operating the new corridor.
