Human Rights deplores the decision of the occupation to expel the representative of "Human Rights Watch"

The Palestinian Human Rights and Civil Society Department condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to expel the representative of Human Rights Watch in the occupied territories, Omar Shaker.

"This decision is intended to conceal the crimes and serious violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, which Human Rights Watch and its president played a key role in exposing and highlighting," the department said in a statement.

"This decision is part of an Israeli strategy aimed at concealing human rights violations and silencing the criticism directed against the occupation and its practices against the Palestinian people, and avoiding the accountability, accountability and sanctions that international humanitarian law imposes on such practices."

At the end of its statement, the department called on all local and international human rights institutions and all countries of the world to "pressure the occupation government, expose its ongoing violations of human rights, and stand by Human Rights Watch in the face of this dangerous procedure."
