The oldest settlers set up a settlement tent in the lands of Al-Jabaa village, southwest of Bethlehem.
The director of the office of the Resistance of the Wall and Settlement Authority in the city, Hassan Brijieh, said that the settlers erected the tent in the "Wadi al-Pigh" area in the village of al-Jab´a.
Brijieh pointed out that the settlers stepped up from their settlement attacks, the last of which was the erection of a mobile home in the lands of Khalat an-Nahla in Bethlehem, and the cultivation of seedlings in lands south of the city in order to confiscate the lands of the citizens.
The occupation authorities issued military orders at the end of last year to seize large areas of Bethlehem lands to expand the gathering of "Gush Asiun" settlements, which were forcefully squatted on the citizens´ lands.
