The Prisoners Committee of the national and Islamic forces handed over, today, Monday, international institutions a legal memorandum warning of the seriousness of the health condition of Palestinian prisoners in light of the Corona pandemic and the occupation´s refusal to introduce the necessary vaccine to them in prisons.
In a statement, the Prisoners Committee affirmed that the resistance will not stand idly by in front of the international community´s demand to assume responsibility and pressure the occupation in order to improve the conditions of prisoners and release them.
The Prisoners Committee for National and Islamic Forces called on international institutions to fulfill their international and humanitarian duties and obligations and to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its racist policies that led to the martyrdom of 226 prisoners.
The forces referred to the prisoners ’situation, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, which threatens the lives of male and female prisoners, the elderly and children prisoners due to Israeli policies and racist crimes.
