Government signs relief grant with China to support poor families

The government, represented by Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Amjad Ghanem and the Chinese government represented by its ambassador to Palestine, Wai Wai, signed a relief grant worth two million dollars to support poor families in Palestine.

During the signing of the agreement, Ghanem thanked the Prime Minister´s Office in Ramallah for his continuous support to Palestine at the political and economic levels. He expressed his hope to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador stressed his country´s continued support for Palestine, stressing China´s firm stance on the Palestinian issue and continuing its efforts to achieve peace on the principle of two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
