Hundreds of Palestinians in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, were killed on Saturday by the body of Ahmed al-Qara, 23, who died last night from wounds sustained during his participation in the return marches.
The funeral procession was launched from the Gaza European Hospital in the direction of his family´s home in Bani Suhaila to give him a farewell look, before mourners perform the funeral prayer at Hamza Mosque and bury him in the martyrs´ cemetery in the town.
The mourners raised the Palestinian flag, as well as banners of the Palestinian factions, chanting slogans calling for the resistance to respond to the continued targeting of live bullets.
On Wednesday, 56 Palestinians were injured during the weekly demonstration on the Gaza Strip border, including 38 with live bullets, including four whose condition was serious.
