The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, that 69 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated in its daily report that 670 samples were examined, of which this number of injuries was recorded, while the others were negative.
It indicated that the cumulative number of injured people since last March has reached 356, including 280 active cases, 72 recovered cases and 4 deaths.
It pointed out that 243 of the active cases are from inside Gaza, and 37 are returnees.
It indicated that the competent medical teams are still conducting epidemiological investigations and following up on a map of contacts in different regions.
"We are still in the stage of containing the epidemic and breaking the cycles of its outbreak, and this stage is sensitive and requires preventing movement except for the most urgent necessity and in accordance with strict preventive measures," she said.
