Full curfew spreads throughout Gaza after corona cases recorded inside Gaza

The full curfew came into effect in the Gaza Strip, following the registration of infections with the new coronavirus outside quarantine centres, for the first time since the emergence of the coronavirus in the world and Palestine in particular.

Traffic on the streets of the Gaza Strip was almost completely halted, while commercial establishments were completely closed.

The images showed the spread of security checkpoints at the main junctions and on the streets, with their elements wearing muzzles as a precaution against the virus.

Official and human rights institutions have warned of the catastrophic effects of the spread of the virus in the Gaza Strip, with deteriorating humanitarian conditions and very limited health potential.

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that four cases of MERS-CoV have been reported in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Subsequently, the Government Information and Information Centre in Gaza announced a total curfew on all governorates of the Gaza Strip.

The decision included a 48-hour suspension of all facilities as of last night, including official and private workplaces, educational institutions, mosques, markets, wedding halls and clubs, and the prohibition of gatherings.

"As soon as the injuries were confirmed, their health procedures were carried out with the cases discovered in accordance with the protocol," al-Seha said.

"The source of the infection is now being identified and the contact map is revealed to deal with it," she said.

"This period will be for epidemic inventory, locating possible infections and dealing with contacts," she said.

The Government Information and Information Centre called on citizens not to leave their homes for 48 hours, and until new directives were issued, in particular for the safety and health of the community.

He called on everyone to exercise maximum caution and to follow the levels of safety and to abide by what is issued by the competent government authorities only.

He called on citizens suspected of severe respiratory symptoms or the loss of a new one for the smell and taste of smell and taste to communicate on the free numbers 103 of the Ministry of Health or 109 for the Ministry of Interior.
