Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening intercepted the sixth naval route launched by the Gaza port in protest against the continued blockade of the strip.
The occupation boats fired fire and gas canisters at boats taking part in the sea route to force them to retreat.
After Sunday afternoon, the sixth maritime route to break the siege of Gaza was launched from the Gaza port towards the northern border of the strip.
The sixth maritime route included 50 boats, with wounded and students on board.
