Biden´s letter slammed President Trump´s position on white supremacy, citing his controversial response to the "uniting of the right" and counter-protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, when Trump said there were "very good people on both sides."
"We are in a battle for the soul of this nation," Biden says, referring to Trump´s presidency as "hateful."
