Two Palestinian fishermen were injured early Friday when their boat came under fire from Israeli gunboats in the Gaza Strip.
The fishermen committees said in a statement: "The Israeli gunboats, opened fire with machine guns, at dawn on Friday, and water pumps towards sardine boats operating in the sea view of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, 12 nautical miles." She added that the process of pumping water, centered towards the fisherman´s boat, "Mahmoud Al-Habeel," and resulted in the fall of two fishermen who were on the boat targeted in the sea water. She explained that the fishermen were recovered and in good condition, while the generator was damaged. In another context, a field observer told "Jerusalem Press", that the Israeli occupation forces, this morning, fired at the land of farmers east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported.
