Statistics from the General Directorate of Civil Status of the Ministry of Interior showed that in September/September the Gaza Strip witnessed 4725 births, at a rate of 157 births per day.
Statistics show that 52% of births are male, with 2445 births, compared to 48% females by 2280.
It noted that the Gaza governorate recorded the births of the city of Jenin, while the Khanyounis office recorded 956 births, 861 in the north, 644 in the middle and 567 in Rafah.
Mortality statistics were 288 cases in the Gaza Strip, 93 in Gaza City, 67 in Khan Yunis, 37 in central, 44 in the north and 47 in Rafah.
