Farwana: 50 prisoners have been arrested for more than 20 years

Abdel Nasser Farwana, a specialist in prisoners and liberated affairs, said today, Wednesday, that 50 prisoners in the occupation prisons have been in detention for more than 20 years continuously.

Farwana said in a brief statement, that 29 of these prisoners have been arrested for more than 25 years, among whom are 14 prisoners who have been detained for more than 30 years and are still behind bars.

He pointed out that there is a great and growing concern among the families of the prisoners due to the Corona virus, which may affect these ancient prisoners.

He pointed out that these prisoners spent the flowers of their youth behind bars, and some of them lost their mothers and fathers while they were waiting for their freedom.
