European deputies are demanding senior officials to prevent Israel from annexing lands in the West Bank

More than a thousand deputies from 25 European countries signed a letter demanding senior officials to prevent Israel from annexing land in the West Bank.

This speech comes before the first of next July, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu proposes the annexation proposals before the cabinet or parliament.

The move is expected to be taken in coordination with the White House, as part of US President Donald Trump´s plan for the Middle East, which he put forward last January.

The letter, which was published yesterday, described the plan as "a disregard for internationally agreed standards and principles" within the framework of the two-state solution.

"This step encourages permanent Israeli control over the divided Palestinian territories, which makes the Palestinians without sovereignty, and gives the green light to Israel to unilaterally annex large parts of the West Bank," the letter added.
