The Ethiopian News Agency reported on Wednesday that the delegation, which includes senior army officers, is expected to meet with officials of the Presidential Office, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France and the Chief of Staff of the French Army.
The visit also aims to enhance the partnership between the two countries in the field of training and provision of equipment for the Ethiopian air and naval forces, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Paris.
Ethiopia and France signed a military cooperation agreement in March 2019, an agreement that will help Ethiopia build naval forces while Paris seeks to strengthen economic ties with Addis Ababa.
