Dozens of settlers stormed the antiquities area in Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, today, with the protection of a force from the occupation army.
The mayor, Muhammad Azim, said that the occupation forces worked to provide protection for the settlers, as the roads leading to the area were closed.
The archaeological area in the historic town of Sebastia witnessed repeated incursions by the occupation forces and settlers. The occupation claims that the archeology site falls within Area C, which is under Israeli security control, while the Palestinians deny this.
