Dozens of settlers enter the area of the ruins in Sebastia with the protection of the army

A number of settlers stormed the area of Al-Athar in the town of Sebastia, north-west of Nablus, on Friday, under the protection of the Israeli army.

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces have imposed a cordon on the area to provide protection to settlers who have continued to break into the area and the establishment of their rituals and their own celebrations.

The occupation claims that the area of the ruins in Sebastia falls within the area (C) meaning that it is under absolute Israeli control, while the Palestinians deny that, and see that in this Israeli claim an attempt to extend control over this part of the land of the town and its property and historical and heritage.
