Detention of the participating delegation and obstruction of its arrival.. "Education" organizes a tour of support and advocacy for Yatta schools

The  Ministry of Education  , through the International and Public Relations Unit, organized today a tour of support and support for the Janba Elementary Mixed School, which was targeted by the occupation army and settlers in the Yatta Education Directorate, in the Hebron Governorate; With the participation of a delegation from "Education" and representatives of international, diplomatic and human rights organizations, official and media institutions, and civil and community events.

The occupation forces detained the participating delegation; I tried to prevent him from going to school; In a move that reveals the persistence of the occupier and its continuous targeting of educational cadres in all regions.  

The Ministry of Education confirmed that this tour, titled: (To Support the Traveler), falls within the context of shedding light on the suffering education that is going through in these areas, the continuous violations caused by the occupation, its targeting of students and educational staff, obstructing their access to their schools and depriving them of receiving their education in an environment safe and stable, pointing out that what happened today in the traveler is proof of the daily suffering that education goes through in Yatta and the various Palestinian governorates. 

During the tour, the students´ voice was heard, the reality of the needs was identified, and the mechanism for following-up their response according to the available capabilities, and the necessity of conveying a message to the world; That it is necessary to put an end to the occupation and curb its crimes and violations against children, students, educational staff and parents. 

It is noteworthy that Al-Mosafer schools are experiencing daily suffering, as the occupation targets educational staff and students through systematic practices; The most recent of which was the closure of the entrances to the villages of the Center and Janba, coinciding with the start of the second semester of the academic year, which started on Sunday morning.
