Clashes and seizure of surveillance cameras and confiscation of a car by storming the occupation of Beit Jala

Israeli troops stormed the town of Beit Jala, northwest of Bethlehem, on Thursday morning and raided several houses to search for surveillance camera footage.

According to local sources, the occupying forces seized a vehicle with a yellow registration plate allegedly for the execution of the raid in Jerusalem, and the forces also seized surveillance camera footage from shops and houses on the main street in Beit Jala.

The sources added that clashes broke out between youths and the occupying forces, who fired stun grenades, tear gas, live bullets and rubber bullets, but no injuries were reported.

The raid on Beit Jala came hours after a raid in Jerusalem, which resulted in the injury of a number of Israeli occupation soldiers, while the bomber was able to withdraw from the site.
