A number of young men suffocated during confrontations that broke out this afternoon, Wednesday, at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, according to the official agency (Wafa).
The occupation forces, present at the military checkpoint in the vicinity of "Beit El" settlement, fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the youths, following the arrival of a march in the framework of activities commemorating the sixteenth anniversary of the martyrdom of President Yasser Arafat, according to the official agency.
