Casualties during an attack by settlers in Madama

A number of citizens were injured today during a confrontation by a group of settlers, south of Nablus, by an attack by a group of settlers.

Local sources reported that a group of settlers attacked homes in the southern part of the town, including the house of Khalil Hamad Qat, who broke their windows while the family was inside.

The townspeople collapsed to repel the attack, before the occupation forces, accompanied by a settlement guard, "Yitzhar", stormed the area, firing live and metal rubber-coated bullets.

The clashes resulted in the injury of Fayez Zakaria, a young man, with live ammunition to the foot, and he was transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus for treatment. A number of citizens were also wounded by metal bullets.

To that, violent clashes broke out yesterday afternoon between dozens of young men and the occupation forces at the entrance to the town of Beita, south of Nablus, during which the soldiers fired sound, gas and metal bullets
