Castilla La Mancha ... A not-crowded Spanish tourist area worth visiting

Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, but at the time of Covid 19 - most people want to avoid crowded cities and beaches. It is therefore worth trying to visit one of Spain´s less well-known areas, Castilla-La Mancha.

The expertly recommended Castilla La Mancha is located in central Spain. It includes scenic landscapes and a delicious kitchen. It is famous for sleepy villages, historic windmills, medieval castles, white sheep herds, black cows, grape fields and the Mancha Plain.

This is the world famous novel "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, which deals with the adventures of the stray knight and his trusted partner Sancho Pansa.

Don Quixote´s fictional character trails can be traced back to medieval villages and towns such as Toledo, Almagro, Pianuaiba de los Infants or the wetlands of the Tapas de Daimil National Park.
