settlers today, Tuesday, stole olives from the lands of citizens in the village of Al-Jab´a, southwest of Bethlehem, and broke the branches of some of its trees, according to the official agency (Wafa).
The head of Al Jaba ´village council, Dhiab Mashaleh, told the official agency that the village farmers had discovered the theft of the olive harvest in their lands adjacent to the settlement of "Beit Ayin", on an area of about 100 dunums, in addition to breaking branches of some trees.
Masha´leh added to the agency, that the owners of the land were trying to enter it, but the occupation used to invoke the need for them to obtain a special permit, and when they were allowed to leave yesterday, the settlers attacked them, and drove them out at gunpoint.
He pointed out that every year, settlers, under the same scenario, and under cover by the occupation forces, prevent them from accessing their lands, and then steal the crop.
