The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Walid Assaf, said that the occupation carried out 300 demolitions in the Holy City out of 686 demolitions carried out in all of the Palestinian territories.
Assaf pointed out during a press conference held today in Ramallah that the largest demolition operation took place since the beginning of the occupation in the Tire Bahir region in Homs Valley, 82 houses were demolished once, in addition to demolishing 22 houses in the Shuafat camp one day.
He added: During the past year, the occupation authorities submitted 136 structural plans to expand the settlements, 85 plans were approved, of which 5,000 new colonial units are under implementation, and about 55 structural plans are under study in the so-called "Supreme Organizing Council for Administration".
