A young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation bullets on Thursday evening after he was targeted with live ammunition on the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack at the French Hill high-speed train station in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
According to Israeli reports, the young Palestinian tried to stab a security guard, injuring him with the palm of his hand. The latter was transferred to receive treatment in the hospital in a minor condition, which the hospital confirmed in a statement issued later.
According to local sources, large forces of police and ambulance rushed to the site of the operation, while the police closed a number of surrounding roads.
According to the Israeli media, the alleged perpetrator of the operation was a young man from the town of Al-Issawiya in Jerusalem. He was 19 years old, and reports indicated that his condition was serious.
The occupation police claimed that they found the knife used to carry out the operation at the site, while the police temporarily stopped the movement of light trains following the operation.
