A young man from Kafr Qaddum was injured by the explosion of a suspicious object left over from the occupation

A young man (30 years old) was injured this evening, Thursday, as a result of the explosion of a suspicious object left over from the Israeli occupation army in the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.

The coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, stated in a press statement that the young man´s family was wandering near a house under construction when they noticed a suspicious object in the place, indicating that the family called the young man who approached the body, before it exploded and hit him in the hand and eye.

Shteiwi pointed out that the occupation army was present in the same place where two similar objects were found, where one of them exploded and hit the young man, while the other exploded from a distance, after stones were thrown at him.

Shteiwi called on human rights organizations and the International Red Cross to open an investigation into this crime, which almost claimed the lives of children who were in the area that the occupation army usually uses to suppress the Friday and Saturday weekly marches in the town.
