A UN human rights report accuses Israel of violating the standards of international law

The Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, international jurist Michael Link, presented a new report on the reality of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, especially the West Bank.

According to the Hebrew website Ynet, the report will be submitted to the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, prior to its submission to the United Nations General Assembly, prior to the hearing at the International Court of Justice in The Hague on the legitimacy of the Israeli occupation.

The report stresses that Israel violates all standards of international law, tries to annex more lands in the West Bank, and works to use some methods of apartheid against the Palestinians, violating civil rights.

The 107-page investigation confirms that the occupation is illegal, that Israel must withdraw completely, immediately and unconditionally, that it must withdraw settlers, end the occupation, repeal all discriminatory laws, and dissolve the Civil Administration.
