A number of civilians were injured by rubber bullets and asphyxiation by tear gas fired by the occupation forces during their storming of the town of Beita, southeast of Nablus, this evening, Sunday.
Local sources reported that a large force of the occupation army stormed the town suddenly, and the soldiers began to search a number of citizens´ homes, and during that violent confrontations broke out between the town’s youths and the occupation forces, where the youths threw stones at the occupation forces, lit tires and closed the streets, while the occupation soldiers fired live bullets. And rubber and tear gas canisters, which led to the occurrence of many injuries among the citizens and those who were treated in the field.
