The military court in Ofer decided today, Tuesday, to release the child prisoner Athal Al-Azza.
Lawyer Munther Abu Ahmed stated that the military court in Ofer decided to release Al-Azza, on financial bail, but that the Public Prosecution would appeal the release decision.
It is noteworthy that the occupation arrested the 14-year-old child Al-Azza on the fifteenth of this month, after beating him while he was on his way to his grandmother´s house in Al-Izza refugee camp in Bethlehem.
According to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, there are 160 children detained in Israeli prisons.
