Several bodies in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday their compliance with the call of the National Authority for Return and Breaking the Siege to declare a comprehensive strike on Wednesday in commemoration of the 71st anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that the strike includes all schools and educational directorates throughout the Gaza Strip.
While some universities announced the suspension of administrative and academic work in response to the same call.
The Ministry of Health has begun preparations for mass marchs along the Gaza Strip border and has prepared an emergency plan to deal with any medical treatment.
