Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 9 deaths, 489 new cases of Coronavirus, and 766 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours, after conducting 3,892 examinations.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that 8 deaths were recorded in the governorates of the West Bank (a 69-year-old citizen from Deir Qaddis, a 57-year-old citizen from Abwain, 74 from Ramallah in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, and a 47-year-old citizen and a 70-year-old citizen. From the city of Hebron, and a citizen of 54 years and the last 72 years from Bethlehem, and a citizen of 70 years from Azmout in the Nablus governorate), in addition to the death of a female citizen of Silwan in Jerusalem.
Regarding recovery cases, 264 cases were recorded in the northern governorates (13 Hebron, 89 Nablus, 33 Jenin, 46 Tulkarm, 11 Qalqilya, 65 Bethlehem, 7 Salfit), 428 in Jerusalem, and 74 recoveries in the Gaza Strip.
She also noted that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 86.2%, while the rate of active infections reached 13%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.

Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 44 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on ventilators.
