Official data showed that the revenues of the software and information technology services industry in China witnessed stable growth during the first ten months of the year.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the software and information technology services sector reaped a total of 5.79 trillion yuan (about 823.06 billion US dollars), with annual growth of 15.2 percent.
The sector´s profits increased by 11.9 percent compared to the same period last year, to 734.2 billion yuan during the first ten months of the year.
Software exports increased 3 percent year on year to $ 38.6 billion.
IT services revenue grew 17.7 percent to 3.42 trillion yuan between January and October, driven by strong growth in cloud services, big data and e-commerce platform services.
Ministry data also showed an increase of 6 percent year on year in the number of employees in the software and information technology services sector to 6.55 million. The average salary level increased by 12.2 percent during that period.
