Asma Mustafa, an English language teacher at the Halima Al Saadia School for Girls in the North Gaza Education Directorate, won the title (Global Teacher for the year 2020) from the AKS Education Award in India.
The teacher, Mustafa, was able to win after participating in the competition and presenting a range of creative works and activities in teaching, including the writing of books such as: The Book of Forty-Five Games for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and Educational Trips Around the World to Teach English Language Skills.
Among its works are practical self-development, communication with the outside world and obtaining several memberships, including: Member of the various global educational communities - global accreditations for companies producing digital education (Microsoft - Google - Apple - Wakelet - National Geographic).
Among the teacher´s work that qualified her to win is the use of optimal technology in education and achieving positive results in the behavior and performance of female students and their achievement, and unlimited cooperation with teachers from more than 100 countries around the world, participation in international education conferences in several countries, and meeting with students through the virtual space in Various schools around the world to talk to them and transfer experiences, in addition to implementing the "Teachers Behind the Screen" initiative, which is concerned with training a constellation of teachers in the educational field and specializing in English by default.
