At least 62 people were killed by a bomb in a mosque in eastern Afghanistan on Friday, a spokesman for the provincial governor said.
Ataullah Khojani, spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar province, said the blast occurred inside a mosque in the Hasaka Mina district of Nangarhar province.
Khojani pointed out that the explosion caused the fall of the roof of the mosque, which feared more casualties. The dead were "all worshipers," the spokesman said.
No one has claimed responsibility so far.
