The value of weapons that the German government allowed to export in the first half of this year reached 3.5 billion euros, more than the value of arms exports last year.
It is noteworthy that the value of arms exports in Germany has declined over the past three years continuously, and reached in 2018 to 4.8 billion euros only.
Hungary was at the head of the main importers of German arms in the first half of this year at 1.76 billion euros, and a large difference from the following countries, Egypt 801.8 million euros and South Korea with 277 million euros.
