Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 5 deaths, 643 new cases of Coronavirus, and 801 recoveries had been recorded during the last 24 hours.
Al-Kailah added in the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, that 4 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 65-year-old citizen from Jericho, a 70-year-old citizen from Al-Sawahra, a 90-year-old citizen and a citizen of Ramallah), in addition to one death in the Gaza Strip. Gaza (a citizen of 72 years old from Gaza).
Al-Kaila said that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.8%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
She added that 541 cases of recovery were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 65, Jenin 59, Nablus 139, Tulkarm 26, Salfit 16, Qalqilya 1, Bethlehem 235), Gaza Strip 260.

Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 40 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 11 patients on artificial respirators.
