The annual report of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, for the past year 2019, monitored about 37 thousand births in the Ministry´s hospitals.
The report pointed out that about (26) thousand births were normal, and about (11) thousand births were performed through cesarean surgeries, while the number of births reached about (39) thousand births.
The report indicated that the number of multiple births (twins) reached about (1100) twins, while the operations of women and obstetrics reached about (14) thousand operations.
