despite the complete closure and the occupation police prevented Jerusalemites from entering the Old City except for those whose identity was recorded as being residents of it, it allowed dozens of settlers within the so-called "Temple Groups" to mobilize their supporters and continue their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Under the leadership of one of the symbols and leaders of the alleged Temple, the extremist Rabbi Ben Tzur Vernin, dozens of extremist settlers today stormed the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, with heavy security from the Israeli occupation police, amid restrictions on the entry of worshipers to the mosque, especially young men and women.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem said that 12 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and they organized provocative tours in different parts of its courtyards.
She explained that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals during the storming of the eastern side of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the occupation police.
Today, the occupation police arrested one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Issam Najib, while he was working in the eastern region of Al-Aqsa.
During the second incursion after the noon prayer, the Islamic Endowments said that 24 settlers stormed the mosque and carried out a provocative tour and closed the Mughrabi Gate.
Hanadi Halawani, the station, which is expelled from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, indicated that the arbitrary occupation measures against the Jerusalemites in exchange for the settlers´ incursion into Al-Aqsa confirm that the real reason for all this strictness and the exclusion of worshipers is the exclusivity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Murabitah Halawani called on the people of the old city to be in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying: "This makes a heavy burden on our people in the Old City and all those who can reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
And she said: "Do not leave it to their plans, nor empty it to the herds of their settlers. They have stacked the ranks of the ribat in its yards and sealed the gaps and defects, and you are assured that the occupation is severe on this land and will disappear as all aspirants of Jerusalem before it have disappeared."
The settler incursions are part of periodic tours by settler flocks aiming to change the reality in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Temple groups had demanded the occupation forces to tighten their grip and confront the Almoravids and punish them and deport them from Jerusalem, pointing to the need to exploit the American support for the Israeli positions and push towards many Judaization projects.
