Salfit farmers said they were surprised today by settlers from the settlement of Ariel, north of Salfit, razing their agricultural and pastoral lands without warning them.
The farmers said they were informed of the bulldozing after the occupation allowed them to enter their land behind the wall for three days.
The farmers confirmed that the dredging took about 30 dunums of their land behind the wall and that the dredging is unking and is not stopped by several mechanisms operating around the clock.
In turn, the researcher in settlement affairs d. Khaled Maali said that the bulldozing comes in response to promises by "Netanyahu" to build 800 new apartments in the settlement, "Ariel" within the campaign.
He noted that settlement expansion is unprecedented in the settlement of Ariel, in order to build many other buildings for the benefit of the Faculty of Medicine, which was approved by the occupation a few days ago, as well as for the construction of laboratories, buildings and facilities that follow the only Ariel University as a settlement university in the West Bank.
