Israeli police said on Tuesday that they arrested three Jerusalemites on the pretext of burning a police station inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli police claimed that the youths threw Molotov cocktails at the police station, causing the fire to burn.
The police said in a statement that "the fire caused damage to the police station and a policeman was slightly injured by smoke inhalation."
The Jerusalem Red Crescent said four Israelis were injured in the attack by Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa mosque since noon.
