29 children have been martyred since the beginning of this year

Defense for Children International - Palestine said that the Israeli occupation forces continue to target Palestinian children in various parts of the West Bank, causing the death and injury of a number of them, as part of the escalation of its violations against the Palestinian people. 
The movement documented the martyrdom of 29 children at the hands of the occupation forces in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of this year until today, 10 of them from Jenin governorate, explaining that all of them were killed by live bullets in the upper parts of the body, which indicates that the shooting The fire aimed at them was with intent to kill. 
The International Movement pointed out that the occupation forces launched what it called Operation Breaking the Wave on March 31, as they intensified incursions and arrests in Palestinian cities in the occupied West Bank, especially the city of Jenin and its camp, which led to an increase in the number of Palestinian children who were killed. They were killed by the fire of those forces. 
The "global movement" stated that the martyred children in the West Bank, whom it has documented since the beginning of this year, are: 
Uday Trad Hisham Salah (17 years old), Dirar Riad Lutfi Al-Haj Saleh (16 years old), Kamel Abdullah Kamel Alawneh (17 years old), and Amjad Walid Hussein Fayed, 16, Shawkat Kamal Shawkat Abed, 17, Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Qassem, 16, Sanad Muhammad Khalil Abu Attia, 16, Muhammad Akram Ali Abu Salah, 16, and Mahmoud Moayed Mahmoud Sous (17 years old), and Mahmoud Muhammad Khalil Samoudi (12 years old), all from Jenin governorate. 
From Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate: Haitham Hani Muhammad Mubarak, 16, Amjad Nashaat Fahmy Nasr “Abu Alia” 15, Muhammad Abdullah Salah Suleiman (16 years old), Awda Muhammad Odeh Sadaqa (17 years old), and Thaer Khalil Muhammad Muslat "Al-Yazuri" (17 years), Mahdi Muhammad Abdel-Moati Ladawa (17 years), and Muhammad Fadi Hani Nouri (16 years). 
From Bethlehem Governorate: Zaid Muhammad Saeed Ghoneim (14 years), Mutasim Muhammad Talib Atallah (17 years), Qusay Fouad Muhammad Hamamra (16 years), and Muhammad Rizq Shehadeh Salah (13 years). 
From Nablus: Hussein Jamal Hussein Taha (16 years old), Ghaith Muhammad Rafiq Ziyad Yamin (16 years old), and Nader Haitham Fathi Rayan (16 years old), while I documented from Hebron the martyrdom of the two children: Moamen Yassin Muhammad Judeh Jaber (16 years old), and Osama Mahmoud Hassan Adawi (17 years), and from Qalqilya, the child: Adel Ibrahim Adel Daoud (14 years).

The Global Movement said, "The data it collects from the field indicates that the Israeli occupation forces systematically target the upper parts of the body when they shoot at Palestinian children, either with the intent of killing or with the intent of leaving permanent disability, and that the excessive use of force is the rule." 
She stressed the need to open professional, transparent and impartial investigations into the shooting incidents in a way that contradicts international or Israeli standards, and to hold the occupation soldiers who target the upper parts of the demonstrators´ bodies, especially children, accountable. 
The "international movement" reiterated that as long as there is no accountability for the Israeli occupation forces for their crimes against Palestinian children, they will continue to target them with the intention of killing, injuring, or arresting, taking advantage of the state of impunity they enjoy, which requires the international community Take urgent action to punish all Israeli perpetrators of crimes who kill Palestinian children or cause them permanent disabilities, in direct violation of international law.
