Today, Sunday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 25 deaths, 2,806 cases of corona and 1,589 recoveries had been recorded in the West Bank and Gaza during the last 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 48, Jenin 210, Tubas 45, Nablus 247, Tulkarm 98, Hebron 265, Salfit 35, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 154, Bethlehem 45, the suburbs of Jerusalem 19, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 12” 1628, Gaza Strip.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 122, Jenin 138, Tubas 19, Nablus 386, Tulkarm 142, Hebron 213, Salfit 41, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 106, Bethlehem 105, Jerusalem suburbs 28, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 17” The Gaza Strip 272.
23 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Qalqilya 3, Jenin 2, Tubas 1, Nablus 4, Tulkarm 2, Hebron 5, Salfit 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 3, Bethlehem 1”, and two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 201 patients in intensive care rooms, including 61 patients on artificial respirators, while 624 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 91,626, of whom 11,129 received the two doses of the vaccine.
