Fifteen youths were wounded with rubber-coated metal bullets, among them two journalists, and dozens of people suffocated with tear gas during confrontations with the Israeli occupation in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.
The coordinator of the Popular Resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, stated that violent confrontations broke out in the village after the start of the weekly peaceful march, during which the occupation soldiers fired metal bullets and sound and gas bombs, wounding 15 young men with rubber-coated metal bullets, 4 of them were transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya, in addition to dozens of cases of gas suffocation.
He pointed out that the march was launched to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the Al-Aqsa uprising and to reject normalization, and to confirm the continuation of popular resistance in light of the increasing violations committed against the villagers, including oppression and abuse.
