Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque on Wednesday under heavy military protection by the Israeli occupation police.
According to our correspondent, the Israeli police opened the "Bab al-Mughrabi", during which the incursions were carried out at 7 a.m. local time, in anticipation of the settlers ´ rounds in the courtyards of the mosque.
He added that 117 settlers, including a radical rabbi and a member of the Knesset/Yehuda Glick, stormed the mosque and performed ritual rituals in his courtyards, amid the protection of members of the Israeli occupation police and special forces.
Among the settlers are 30 students from Jewish religious institutes who are allowed by the occupation authorities to roam the al-Aqsa mosque yard without restricting them to a specific route for their tours.
